Povod za razgovor sa Ivanom Čolovićem su dva jubileja: „Pola vijeka“ najšarenije biblioteke na svijetu, pedesetogodišnjica koja je u pandemijskim uslovima obilježena tokom prošle, 2021. godine kroz promocije u Beogradu, Puli, a izdanja Biblioteke XX. vek su bila predstavljena i na History Festu u Sarajevu. Drugi jubilej je dvijestotine i pedeseti naslov u nizu izdanja ove Biblioteke - „Pola veka XX. veka“.
