Association for Modern History issues a call for papers for the next journal edition no later than February 15th each year. Papers are submitted electronically to the journal's Editorial Board via email at katz.vera@gmail.com/husnijakamberovic@gmail.com/edin.omercic@iis.unsa.ba. The editor-in-chief decides which papers meet the basic requirements and sends them in anonymized form to the Editorial Board. The Editorial Board read the papers, and suggest papers that should be sent to review, as well as appropriate reviewers, in the meeting with the editor-in-chief. The editor-in-chief makes the final decision on reviewers and sends them the papers in anonymized form. After the review process, the final decision on the choice of papers for the next journal issue is made in the meeting of the Editorial Board with the editor-in-chief. The journal secretary sends the chosen papers to proofreading, and abstract, title, and keywords to the person in charge of creating DOI numbers for each article. After proofreading, the secretary performs a first paper correction and sends them to typesetting. Papers are then sent to authors for correction. The editor-in-chief performs a second correction of the complete journal content, and the final journal content is sent for printing.
